I think my rear to front ride height ratio is lower in the rear compared to the OEM ratio. At the default "0" beam height, it seems to point way too high/far. I have to set it to "1" or else I'll blind oncoming traffic. Maybe I'll raise the front a little. :dunno:

If you have the factory top bolt, it can only go in one way (the factory way). I have the OEM crash bolts at the top to get additional camber at the wheel hub. It's the ideal way to gain negative camber without affecting the coilover geometry/angle.
Cool ill have to check that again. I could of sworn my left and right were pointing different ways.

Do you notice any extra noise with your set? I hear some camber plate chunking but not too much

I did notice a huge clunking noise but that was my fault because I forgot to torque the nuts holding the coilover springs, lol.

I don't really notice it now as much. My Direzza II tires generate quite a bit of noise and it's difficult for me to notice. I'll have to pay attention more tomorrow to see if I can hear it.

My trunk is also completed gutted. No lining, spare, etc. That will also generate a little more road noise as well.

I'd double check your front and rear top hat nuts to ensure they're properly torqued. The rear 17mm nuts are 22 ft lbs, and the 13mm fronts are 17 ft lbs.

Is there an "optimal" ride height range for the R2 coilovers?

Paging @Jackson.

My hearing isn't the best, but no noise here.. nothing abnormal anyways.

Damn maybe I didn't install it correctly. I think on one side I torqued the bolts that hold the strut first, then the 3 nuts on top

Its always top first then bottom. Same goes for the rear but you jack up the rear.

Does it really make a difference once everything is torqued to spec? I install all nuts/bolts finger tight before I torque them to spec.

One inch front and rear seem to work best.

I dont know technically why but in the pictorial for installation and instructions from Mark at Eibach. I would trust them that there is a reason why for these specific steps.

I'm curious to hear what @Dave-ROR or @CSG Mike has to say about the order in which you torque the bolts (front top to bottom).

I think what Rawr is saying is the order you install, since the installation guide didnt have any torque specs.

I usually hand tighten things, then go back and torque it down.

I think I'm confused now.

Are we talking about the order in which you fasten the bolts?

For example, for the front coilovers, you'd mount the 3 nuts for the top plate first, then thread the 19mm bolts through the knuckle?

If the bolts aren't torqued at the top first, then're going to wiggle when you install the 19mm bolts at the bottom.

In my case, I went through the steps with hand tightening, then torqued it down depending on which bolt it was.
