Friday I hope to get some dyno pulls in. Jotech has a FR-S baseline already. I will be doing a few pulls with just exhaust and intake and then after the mid pip and header is installed doing another set. I hope to have the information up Saturday before I leave the country.

Sounds good man! What header are you going with? UEL or EL?

Anyone have any Dyno numbers before and after a Ecutek tune? Someone in the Austin thread said that a FRS with a TRD exhaust and airfilter only had 2 less then a guy with a catback, air intake and Ecutek tune.. If it's only 2whp and 2tq.. why would I want to spend 700 dollars on it?

Ft speed factory dyno shows Borla EL header doesn't really get rid of the torque dip as much as the UEL from what I saw.

Here's the dyno

Down the road Ill be doing the same thing. The Borla EL header looks nice although I want the Nameless Performance EL header. With a tune tho cant the Borla EL header get close to the UEL? At least thats been the trend I have seen so far.

the dip at the 3500 rpm range is due to the cat more then anything else. It's crappy. if you chose to go with a high flow or a mid pipe w/ resonator the gains are minimal between the two. At least that's what was explained to me.

Doesn't the exhaust have 2 cats? Remove the one in the header and problem solved? Or at least we could see some nice results. If you take a look at the dyno on the 3rd post of the nameless performance header forum it shows a mighty gain when combined with the 3" exhaust.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9179

Granted I wont be adding an exhaust or header for a while as funds are tight being a college student and well the car is still keeping me entertained with its cornering ability!

Sad day.. Was only able to do a partial dyno due to some technical difficulties. Greddy cold air intake and evo 3 exhaust bumped up the WHP to 165.

We did the borla header and AP mid pipe (comes with over pipe) and was getting ready to run it again and found an exhaust leak. There appears to be a manufacturing issues with the slip and brace on the mid pipe/over pipe and it leaks. They even cut the slips a bit more for a tighter fit and it still leaked. So, we didn't dyno the outcome yet. Will be going back next weekend after I get back for a swap out to the Borla mid pipe + over pipe. Hope this one works!

The borla mid pipe should be installed next saturday. I will get more dyno information so the "stage 1" will have some results. Tony wont make an official stage 1 until they have a tuning solution. Need more people to be interested in ECUTek before they said they would buy into it.

Hell if I had the money I'd buy the fee for them..bleh

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. Just bought my FR-S a few weeks ago and some genius scratched the driver side mirror today. Looks like it was a red car. Has anyone had this issue or have had any touch ups done? I live in SGP/Arlington area. The only body shop I've ever used was Picasso's in Fort Worth but that was for an older car.
