There is definitely a HP gain. I should be able to quantify the gains in my setup later this week.

Keep in mind the following formula...

HP = Torque x RPM ÷ 5252

If you already have a stage 2 tune then i would send in your logs post install and have them review (free HP sitting on the table). I recall them mentioning somewhere that you should be able to run a bit more timing.

yes you will see hp gains untuned but i can still bump up power a bit with a tune revision because of the increase in exhaust flow.

its a direct bolt on for any system out there that was designed to bolt to the end of the stock header since we use the exact same placement.

I got the car dynoed on Saturday down in Richmond. The dyno numbers were reading a little low so take it with a grain of salt. There were 5 or 6 of us so there are some good comparisons in the post here:

I'm running the 92 octane Fuel ~ Timing + map on my unichip (AEM Intake w/Headers)

The map is running too rich up top. I'm sure I could squeak out an extra 4-7whp at peak if I went with a leaner mixture. Very consistent pulls, goodbye torque curve:

Very nice numbers, and I'm sure you'd see 200~ on E85

Looks good I think you would see more gains with a reflash tune since the cam timing can and probably should be adjusted with the factory bottle neck removed, especially in the 3000 - 4500 range.

Just to clarify -- So the only mods were the AEM intake, FA20Club header, and unichip. Everything else is stock. I'm very happy with the torque curve. It looks like a few adjustments to the map and I can make the HP curve a little more linear from 4-5k rpms and a few more ponies up top. The dyno reads how the car feels so I'm happy with it.

I had roughly the same numbers as a guy running E85 w/tune and overpipe-back exhaust and intake. However, my torque curve was a table where he was still battling the dip. The header definitely got rid of that. It just makes the car more fun to drive on backroads.

I updated my build thread with a few more thoughts, mostly the same as what i posted here. My Virtual Dyno numbers are pretty close to your actual numbers @swift996 with the exception that mine are even more linear than yours. Likely due to using Virtual Dyno vs real dyno though.

its a tried and true design. its exactly what the car needed to allot of powerband issues throughout the entire range. couple with a proper tune and youll see more gains up top and probably a bit more around the dip area with the cam phasing adjusted.

Yep. Although I don't have an intake. Just a replacement panel filter from K&N. Other power mods are the Nameless overpipe/downpipe/hfc, nameless axleback, and reflash.

There's definitely some work to be done on my map (especially in the dip area, I dynod an older revision of Visconti's E85 rom (1.07) and it had about half of the torque dip as my current rom.

Seeing the result from your header was definitely encouraging though. As soon as Nameless releases theirs, i'm all over it. Hopefully between the header and some more work in the E85 rom I hope to hit 200whp NA and i'll be happy.

My best attempt to mock-up a stock/near-stock run.
