That yellow should be offered stock. Way cooler then the green they make.

you can definetely get a car wrapped to look like it was a paint job on the exterior. Most people cant even tell between wrap or paint for some colors!

I'm really glad I let my vinyl guy talk me into satin black accents, instead of gloss black. Satin black looks WAY better than the gloss does. From a distance, its almost impossible to tell the car is wrapped. I'd say you'd have to get within about 1-2 feet in good lighting to be able to tell that it's not paint, or know what you're looking for. Since I was there while it was being wrapped, I know where all the tiny whoops' are, so they pop out to me when I look, but upon casual observation by 90% of the population, it looks like paint.

You can get it wrapped yellow, but it won't have a deep color like in your OP, and won't be as glossy. Still might look good, though (like the one posted above)...your call in the end. Maybe have them do a small section and see if you like the results (like a mirror or something)

3M makes a heat tape, as does DEi. It'll take a bunch to do the under side of the hood, but I think with four 2'x2' sheets I should be okay. I've never seen someone do the entire under side of their hood in heat reflective tape. Most do just wirelooms, firewalls, intakes and stuff like that.

there aren't any noticeable rock chips that I've seen so far. Taking care of it is a lot like paint, you can clay bar/wax it, and my vinyl guy even suggests lots of carnauba wax to really help it shine more, but for the most part, yes you just wash it and try not to park it in the sun a lot. |
