FR-S Wrapped with yellow and Five Axis body Kit
What do you guys think? Could someone achieve this color look with a Wrap?
http://clicccar.com/wp-content/uploads/DSC_2637.jpg What do you guys think with this color, and either an un-painted or wrapped in the same color or maybe even black with an five axis body kit? |
I doubt you could wrap it and have it look like that. Get some yellow plasti-dip or something if you wanna give it a try.
|
Dont plasti dip your new car.....
Yes, you can get the look you want but youll have to pay for it, $$$$. It will fade. |
You can wrap or plasti , wrap is more $ for custom colors , plasti is cheaper but won't last long

yup someone on here has it already.. forgot who..:bonk: looks pretty good on picture but im sure its better in person
|
Will I get pulled over often?
|
wrap jobs are much harder than plasti dip but imo wrap will look better up close. unless you are a pro, most likely your dip will have texture to it and you cant get the shine of a good vinyl even with the glossifier (from dipyourcar youtube)
My honest opinion? get it professionally painted. Yellow is too awesome of a color on this car to change it to anything else down the line. |

The op pic looks like the same yellow my rs 7 2012 tc was. A true full paint job is the only way to get that exact color and it will be $$$ to get it done properly meaning door jams engine bay ect.

My wrap guy is charging $2400 for each full FRS wrap in non-textured vinyls. That includes inside the door jams and all the exterior panels. Obviously, the underside of the trunk and hood are not going to be wrapped, but I have other plans for my hood (heat reflective tape). |
^nice, I didn't know they wrap door jams too! Learn something knew every day!
|
They can, its just a matter of finding a vinyl guy willing to do it. The FRS door jams are super easy to wrap too, since most everything in the way can be easily removed (door seals, trim/kick panels).

The dude who plastidipped his car is on this facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/152742868183430/
He did it himself and posted progress pictures. Looks like it turned out pretty well. |
