I am a huge proponent of function>form but occasionally an item will appear that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. I am suggesting these are one such item.

Damn, I am almost inclined to buy these to replace my Vorshlags, just because of how good they look. Now if you could anodize them orange I think I would be completely sold!

They are even better looking in person.

I will be testing them at the AutoX soon.

Do these raise the height when installed, or do they allow more shock travel? Parts look good!

Raceseng can answer definitely but the way the upper portion seems to fit within the opening of the strut tower would mean the perch wouldn't sit quite as low as a perch which fits completely flat under the shock tower.

I rarely see something that makes me scream "I need this" like these do.

We plan on making them work with all the dampers on the market. We can custom machine the upper and lower spherical bearing bushing to fit the strut shaft. We plan on making a simple form that the customer can fill out that will detail the dimensions of their strut shaft and spring. There will be some modularity between the strut shafts but its going to take us some time to cover all the coil overs on the market.

These have less stack height then the top plates that come on coil overs. Since the plate extends up into the strut tower, I was able to push the bearing housing further up into the caster/camber plate.

Glad you asked, the upper is a spherical bearing with a stainless steel race/ball and a teflon liner. There are a large number of private labeled spherical bearings carried by every "bearing manufacturer" under the sun. Sifting through the mess of private labeled bearings is the difficult part.

The spring perch bearing is a double row angular contact bearing. This is a more expensive bearing but truly intended for the axial/thrust load that it will see.

Hearing something like this makes me proud because we pour hours upon hours into truly designing our products. All things begin and end with design at Raceseng, it is one of our core foundations.

The caster/camber plate will be black anodized and the bearing housing and spring perch will be anodized orange.
