If he was an enthusiast, he might even swap in the GM L67 supercharged 3.8L V6 from other cars that share the same chassis.

Even in a heavy car like that they run high 14's with nothing done to them, and when you start to do pulley swap/supporting mods they can get into the 13's

The OP said Grand Prix not Grand Am. The Grand Prix was like 3500 lbs, the Grand Am was about 3100. I own a 2000 Grand Am, it does have plenty of torque, it's also a 3 or 4 speed automatic which automatically disqualifies any coolness. Although when I changed the air filer from stock to a K&N, engine response vastly improved and it accelerated like a new car.

I dunno I dont care if the car is 1/4 or 0-60 fast too much. The torque dip gone would be nice. Catback exhaust, intake, and an e85 tune are all I have planned.

I already have the exhaust and intake and that actually made a pretty decent improvement. Once I get the tune I figure I can get close to 200whp or 235-240 at the crank. (I might need a down pipe, not sure, but I really dont want to do the headers as it seems like a PITA to do).

I don't play around anymore. Got smoked by stangs, vettes, Caravans, RAV4.
Now I have the last laugh.

Installed this, running 5PSI, never in my life have I been thrown back in the seat so hard.

Don't know how much longer the clutch will hold, or axles. I had a buddy who races garbage trucks hop in and do a butt dyno and he said it was absolutely stunning.
Don't deny yourself and let the haters tell you that you have the wrong car. You want to run 9s all day? Maybe 8.5s? Do yourself a favor, you have earned it.

Do you have any official dyno data to back up your claim? I've read articles that these electric superchargers were just placebo tools or straight up scam.
