Safest way to get 15%-20% more NA HP and torque vs. stock

Let's assume I have a stock BRZ and a few grands to burn. What are my options?

As far as I am aware no one has gotten to 200 WHP NA without corn juice. I could be wrong by now.

I would start with a tune and headers though, those seem to be getting the best results.

Ecutek is your best bet with headers and perhaps costless.

~160 whp * 1.2 = 192 whp. <== Is this your goal?

E85 tune would get you there. A tune and PTuning's water/meth injection kit would probably be enough if you don't have E85. Nameless header dynos look to be in that range, but they aren't finished the development yet. The Nameless overpipe and cat back might do it. The 'cold' air intakes don't seem to add anything other then driveability issues so I wouldn't bother with that.

The Innovate super charger might be enough to get you there, but finding evidence of bigfoot is probably easier then buying a finished one.

I didn't think of that! Have you seen this on an NA car? I just read about it on the @ptuning turbo kit a few days ago.

No, but it's the only WMI kit I'm aware of. If they can get a throttle switch to work there's no reason it couldn't allow some more power to be found with a decent tuner. Well, no reason I know of.

+1 for headers and tune. Throw in a catback while your at it too. It's actually what i'm going for.

My mods: headerexit back exhaust from nameless performance, Perrin Silicone inlet tube, Perrin drop in filter, Perrin LWCP, Resinator delete in the stock air box, and running 17x8 45 PF01's. (17.8lb each wrapped in hankook 235/45/17 V12's)

^ This made 169HP. After BRZedit protune at PREracing I'm sitting at 185WHP

Crapy picture but it is what it is. i'll get a print out and scan it soon.

Have the RevWorks header coming my way in the mail and have a retune scheduled for may 3rd. We plan to see a 10-15WHP gain and the torque dip to be eliminated. I'll post results after the header. (hopefully break 200WHP)

*edit* this is also on pump gas... non of that E85 BS

On E85? Yeah. On pump? Doubtful. I'll let you know when I get my next dyno; baseline was just the axleback and now I have the combo front pipe.

Borla header, stock overpipe, test pipe, ISIS exhaust, visconti tune, stock intake I made just shy of 180whp based on Phastek's dynojet.

I figure with an intake, overpipe, and updated tune I could touch 190 on the same dyno.

Vortech SC with a 6 psi pully...220-ish whp. Very safe, quiet...and fun.

Thank you.
I don't want the inconvenience of E85. I'm looking for something that is as simple to live with as the stock but has more power.
Should I just look into a supercharger?

What would a full exhaust system replacement + headers + tune cost and how much you are hoping to gain in performance?
