Ah, I called my stepdad in Korea a few weeks ago and asked him to send me some fast shoes, but now I see they all wear penny loafers (the guy's walking pace was hilarious to listen to), I'm glad I bought a pair of these this week: http://amzn.com/B008MLLFT4

I had my car stall and not start up at the track before. But being push start. I pushed it and it cranked for 5-10sec and came back to life. While it was cranking past the 4-5 sec mark I thought I killed my car . I guess if he cranked it longer it will start? My spin out looked similar to his. My guess is going backwards = engine cranks the wrong direction and all the cylinders needed to be re-primed again hence the long cranking.

lol geez manual push starts, had to do this on my dc2 on multiple occasions. downhill incline is your best friend.

He has a nice camera but no extinguisher...brilliant. Good to see he still has the good sense to keep filming up close as the car continues to burn...

You just take the key out and wait 5-10 minutes. It starts right back up.

sometimes it's not always about saving property - if someone is in an accident and trapped in the car while it catches fire, some types of extinguishers can be used to spray the person and buy precious time until the fire trucks arrive to cut them out. you could also spray yourself if you're the one trapped. if you're trapped in a car that's on fire, an extinguisher that's too small to put out the car fire may buy you a couple of extra minutes and save your life.

one example is fireade 2000, which is foam-based:

Well, this sucks because our car costs about $35,000 in S.Korea
and judging from the information I read on Youtube, he won't be getting jack sh*t.
(kinda obvious. sh*t happened on track. duh.)

Too lazy to translate the whole thing but here is the long story short.

1. he miss shifted and spun out
2. didn't hit anything but the car stalled
3. tried to start the engine but the car went into dummy mode
4. he checked the rear and found out that dry grass caught on fire
5. tried to push the car but he wasn't Gangnam style enough to push it out
6. beautiful GT86 burned to ashes.

I personally believe that he would have saved his car if the track event was more organized.

That being said, gt86 doesn't catch on fire on its own, unlike Ferrari lol

That sucks, seems like the whole thing could have been avoided if the people that take care of the track actually water the grass or cut the grass. Don't they typically have some sort of fire truck or emergency response at track events? Where were they at?
