I don't care what it looks like, I just don't want women getting hurt when they're rubbing their breasts all over it because it's going to just be that freaking awesome.

Uh, shouldn't you be more worried about them scratching the fenders as they lean over? Fender covers, man. Fender covers.

In an ironic twist the released product comes with a blurred paint job.

The cut-out should honestly carry over the rounded edge off the top of the bracket so it blends with the general profile of the bar. As with your hood struts you should package a golden plaque with your G*S logo so the user can apply it (or not) to their desired location on the product. Another option is to laser etch or applique something near the passenger side bracket on front/top of the tubular so people looking into the engine can read the name immediately, that is the typical viewing angle for most users. I know your motif is gold on black, so a gold outline of your branding would look very clean and would stick out under direct/indirect light.

To keep the MSRP low on the initial launch you should probably focus on keeping the color selection low, matching the black to the triangulation bars would be best as your end user will most likely be making this their first modifications to the vehicle.

You need to put some thought into your packaging, my prior products showed up in a plain white packing box with everything loose. Also your supplied stickers for this product for external application should be your G*S logo as it is your defining logo. Everyone has a name, but a strong logo creates a recognizable brand.

Still wondering what this product will offer over all of the currently released strut tower braces besides being produced from steel.

Could you post a link to the survey that supports this statement?

...and that it has no bends, has solid mounting points (no hinges, no adjustments), looks OEM and that they are actually gathering data to make sure it actually has a benefit. I look at the bars like Cusco and just shudder. I feel like I could break them over my knee.

Plus, I have to hand it to GS for making something that looks like it belongs in the engine bay. There's another company, that shall remain nameless, that is working on something similar (robust with no frills) and I'm really torn. Everything else seems either too flashy, too thin or too bendy. A lot of companies just say, "Hey new car, let's throw a bar on it and sell tons and make huge monies!" without testing to see if it DOES anything. And if they do, they aren't sharing.

Hotchkis bar fits all of the above (minus the OEM look) and it comes with the triangulation bars, but with that addition it does come at a higher price. It on the other hand is produced from aluminum.
