Here's an interesting theory, drive the car like a performance 4 banger that it is. Keep the revs over 5k. Problem solved - and it's the cheapest way.

Any of the dynos showing headers use stock exhaust?

Push the passenger out when you get to 3200

But in all seriousness the tune is the only thing I've seen make a dent. The upcoming headers will change this no doubt. Will be doing testing shortly to see how they do.

Yes, they are near Andrewtech and they work with Andrew on a lot of things.

I've already got a turbo car and don't want to go that route, if it isn't fixable with something like a tune and some exhaust parts then I'll just live with it. I really don't care for more power on this ride.

I'll be keeping an eye on the Nameless and P&L stuff. Looks nice.

Have you even driven one yet? If you don't care about more power, why be concerned about the dip? It's not like it affects daily driving in any way...

then you're near e85 quite often. Annapolis has it, as does Germantown and Rockville. Might be worth looking into a flexfuel kit so that you can fill up on the good stuff and take advantage of the extra power when you're near it, but the freedom to switch back to pumpgas when needed.

haha...I hear ya. I would drive one first though. I don't get the big deal about the dip...it doesn't affect anything if you keep it in the heart of the power band during aggresive driving, and during normal driving it really isn't bad enough to even be concerned with. I personally think it's been a little blown out of proportion...kind of like the overall lack of power. Yeah, these cars are a little low on power, but if you can't safely merge onto a highway, it's not the car...you're doing something wrong...

I think it feels just fine as is, almost like a buffer to let you know "hey dummy, you're in traffic, don't drive like an ass".

I do plan on finishing out the exhaust, picking up brz edit. Eventually going s/c and putting together some cams

what's the best way to exaggerate the torque dip? i'm only at 800 miles on my BRZ and i raised my rev limit from 4000 to 5000, but i honestly can't tell the torque dip with regular driving. having said that, maybe i shouldn't try to find out lol.
