I had my car opti coated over the weekend, i did speak to rick but i could not work out a date as i was available only on sundays.

I spoke to Seajay's Detailing, and had him come over to my apartment and get it done. it was the same price as Ricks around 400ish. So it was not bad.

The only thing i forgot due to excitement was to click pics before the opti coat.

Brought my car to Unique Car Care and the team did a great job. Despite asking for Opti-coat originally, Rick saved me some dough by being honest about the car needing more work to be perfect. Unfortunately, I was short on time, but if I let them, they probably would've kept working on getting out all the flaws until they got it right and worked til midnight. The price was a little higher than I'm used to, but well worth the money considering all the paint correction that they did. There was some light hologramming on the front bumper, the passenger-side mirror was scuffed up from a shopping cart, scratches in the door-handle well, and fine scratches all over the place. Personally, I was SUPER impressed that they buffed out the scuff on the side-mirror because that thing was DEEP. Rick and his team are class acts and you can tell that they care about their craft. I felt bad rushing the touch up buffing at the end because even though they did a great job on the car, I know that they could have made it look even better if I had given them the time and as professionals and artists, you always want everything to be your best work. Next time, I know to give them at least a day to do their magic. I just wish I knew about them when I had my RSX.

For any touch up work at all, Unique Car Care is now my go-to shop. Thankfully, I live less than 10 minutes away. If only I remembered to ask them to recommend a body shop...
