I'd like to see if we can get people with radios to volunteer in advance to be lead or tail for the various groups based on the homeward bound leg of the drive.

Central Valley (Del Puerto): @crouchingpinoy - do you mind being the lead car for that group? Any volunteers to be tail?

SF/East Bay/North (Mines): I think the rest of the scout team hails from this region, so any one of us could be lead/tails. This might also be the largest group of cars so we might need to split into 2 or 3 groups. @overlookedx @BigFatFlip @mike_ekim1024

South Bay (Mt Ham): we didn't have any South Bayers with us on the recon - any volunteers who know the Mt Ham route back to SJ?

I am a HAM if you need anyone with a radio. Just don't have a handheld my radio is in my truck. I would be willing to be a radio guy.

I just drove the road down to the lake the other day. And boy it's nice and smoof.

To get back to San Jose I think its 130. Nice tight twisty road. Drove that going to frank raines ohv. Not fun in the truck but I could see it being fun in the cayon carver.

Registering this afternoon. I have an extra FRS radio, and can take the 6 o'clock position (followup/sweep/tail) for the drive. If needed, I can help cook. My CV: plenty of years sitting in front of various grilles, catering, as a line cook/sous chef and BBQ ringer during college.

^Winner! Lol, Pmok and I were joking around that we both could volunteer but with the risk of people getting either burnt food or food poisoning lol

I am a bit unsure at this point if ill be going on the drive or heading home after the meet/greet. I've been thinking about it and i probably won't know until that day, but if i do ill be towards the back as i'll be keeping around the speed limit. I like that it's all one road though so there will be no need to hurry and try to keep up like last time lol. I am thinking about buying a radio, but won't have money for a couple months to do so, they just seem to be really handy.
