What would really float my boat:
Liftback/hatchback Helical LSD (Torsen, Quaife, TRD, who cares) Under 3000 lbs and 22K (23K with LSD) Standard stability control (to protect our insurance premiums from the idiots) Assembled at the Tahara, Aichi plant. I would drop another $1K on heated seats and auto climate control. But that's probably too upmarket for this car. |

Here's what would make me happy:
Under $28k for the fully equipped Turbo model Over 220hp Flex fuel ready(E85 is a lot cheaper than 110 leaded) Weight under 2800lbs Limited Slip Differential(clutch or helical) Brakes that require 17" wheels or bigger Room for a 255/40R17 or bigger front tire Room for a 275/40R17 or bigger rear tire NO SUNROOF!

It was more of a generalization that people unconcerned with making power wouldn't understand the performance benefits of E85. It seems to have held true once again.

for trackdays, E85 is great. exactly like cheap race gas.
i am not, however, an advocate of it for normal, everyday driving. i don't think one fuel is necessarily "better" than another; each has its benefits and drawbacks. i prefer gasoline in my own stuff, but realize that ethanol has its place as well. -Mike
