p.s. WRT the brakes, it's not about stopping it the first time, it's about stopping it over and over and over again.

You really don't get it, do you?

whatever size they are, i hope they're relatively light. they don't need to be SUPER light, i'll deal with a little more weight for a stronger wheel (read: roads around here can have some wicked potholes) but i'd still like to minimize unsprung rotating mass, as that is the worst possible kind of weight a car can have. ever.

hey guys, we have an 8 page thread on wheel sizes... we don't need 10+ posts here rehashing the SOS.

Take it there... http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...hp?t=73&page=8

And being that wheels (their style or size) are one of the easiest and first things people change, it wouldn't seem they should rate very high on this thread on "minimum Requirements" in order for you to buy this car.

Lol, that's why an AP2 comes with 17s and drives alot better than an AP1 with 16s. There's obviously more to it than just wheel sizes but there's a reason Honda put 17s on the AP2. Oh yeah, the S2000 is a pure drivers car.

edit: well that and maybe tire selection is better with the larger wheels

~150hp
~2500lbs with full tank of gas
no power windows, power seats or power anything
plain interior, less fancy the better, infact doesn't really need one.

I've not bought cars because of their interiors. The newer WRX STi is a good example, beautiful car, but for what I was going to do to it, way too fancy. Not my style, utilitarian please.

Here's what I want to see (and its ordered by importance):
Less than 25k
Around 200PS
Maximum weight of 1260kg (~2800lbs) /w AC
6MT
Limited Slip Differential
Achieve around 0.89g's @ 56km/h (~35mph)
Maximum 53% front weight distribution
Actually have room in the back since its a "2+2"
Top speed around or above 241km/h (~150mph) [ not like its really going to be used, just nice to know its there :P ]
