Unless you're 12 years old, you get the RX7s. They are the standard kart at SPK. You have to qualify for the RX250. I've only ever done enduros at SPK, so I'm not sure how the arrive-and-drive works. I can't waste an entire weekend day to head to SPK the rest of this year.

I'll try to remember to post here the next time I go to Allsports or MAGP.

Haha, no. Our team is "Aggro Crag." I know all those guys though: they're so fast! We were ecstatic to be only 1.5 laps behind them at the last event we did (Hyperfest). We don't have that much time to dedicate to karting/car stuff anymore.

You have to qualify for the Faster kart with track times with the standard kart, once you qualify you pay a fee and your good to go for the rest of the day after you qualify

Haha! I was at hyperfest too. I was a bit irritated we didn't win. We put up some of the fastest times, but two curious black flags put us off the leaderboard. Definitely want to go back and take it from them. Im not one for grudge matches either, as it shifts focus from driving to vengeance which inherently causes mistakes, however, those lil turds were talking some smack!

if im not driving in 24 hour lemons that is.

Anyone up for a karting day/evening since this never happened?

I want to check out the new karting place in Columbia/Jessup when it opens: http://www.autobahnspeed.com/

This looks really nice, I still say we all need to go a KTP at SPK!

We're right around the corner from AllSports, so that would get my vote. We could combine it with a pre-meet at the shop!

The Allsports is nice if its a weekday, if its a weekend Summit Point all the way. Going 60mph on a skidpad while feeling the G's is so awesome.

Is the track in Crofton any good? That might be another option.
