Karting Event

I mentioned it in another thread, but let's do a karting event. I think the best idea is to go on a Saturday afternoon to avoid the leagues that happen on Sundays. I'd do Allsports (Dulles, VA) or Mid-Atlantic (New Castle, DE).

Any thoughts? Dates?

G-Force Karts in Richmond has a really good setup and has no problem working with groups.

I love SPK, but it's almost Winter which is why I didn't suggest it. It looks like they are open at least next weekend. I do want to try out the RX250s.

I tried G-Force a few years ago, but it's just way too far.

I guess I'll just post here when I'm going and people can show up if they want.

I don't know if it would sweeten the deal at all, but if we had 10 cars or so I could probably reserve the dyno the same day. 10 cars would be around 55-60/car for 3 runs w/ air fuel and the facility is only about 10 minutes from G-Force.

I have not done karting yet, but I really want to. I am a pretty active autocrosser, and have been through one of the SCCA trainings where they told me doing karts is one of the best ways to improve.

I thought summit point closes during the winter time. I could be wrong.

You pull a fast lap with the regular karts and theyl flag youre account as qualified for the faster ones. I think they made it easier by a full second recently.

They are open this weekend
