Awesome build ... although it saddens me to see the lack of love for the XT6 . So many just used and thrown away for a 5 lug conversion.

I always wanted a GL-10 after my first Loyale but i never found one for sale down here in Texas.

Thanks for breathing new life into a classic Subaru , and for documenting the trip for all of us. Maybe some day i can do the same for my old car.

thank you..... yes i didnt want to scrap the xt6 but up here the salt had eaten the body right up and the owner killed it all.

I been looking for another xt6 or just xt turbo, if i find a nice one i will do a 2 door coupe build. the 2 doors have so much room up front for a monster intercooler its crazy the room in the front of the old coupes.

well the new BW s300sx FMW fits and is in, along with the JDM STi magnesium valve covers.

also had to take the timing belt off and pulleys so I could get to the oil feed line for the AVCS and get the screens out !.. pain in the butt but i had to get it done.

good thing I have room still for the 4" cone aem filter and set up for this turbo.

I had also changed the vacuum lines for the dual wastegates to hi temp silicone to handle the heat stress in that area.

just need to wait for the turbo pipe I ordered so I can complete it all.

and the new brakes set up with stainless steel pistons better for heat transfer on the fluid
