I think you'll end up crashing looking at gauges down there!

I think you'll end up crashing while checking your speedo or gas or even mpg

That's why they have bright lights. You are not looking at the gauges all the time, the lights flash and change colors depending on condition and your eyes pick it up. Besides, they are at the cluster level, so like @SmsAlSuwaidi said, might as well crash trying to shift close to redline.
I didn't expect anything more or anything less. You LOVE criticizing.

![]() I guess the ideal setup is right in the middle of the windshield so you can be going hard and see the gauges but maybe not the street? ![]() Who said I care? Expect is not defined as care.

I have a ton of gauges loaded on a nexus 7 using a pro clip. I'm not looking right at the gauges when I'm hard on the gas but when its safe to check them, I check them frequently. I like knowing ALL the temps for every available sensor in the car. I think the two gauges on opposing sides of the cluster is more than adequate for an FI setup. I don't like doing them in the pillar personally but I know others that love them there. It's all personal preference and what works best for YOU. Which brand/model gauges are you using? Sorry if I missed that part in a previous post...I'd like to check them out.

I'm using the AEM Falisafe for Boost and AFR on the right and on the left using AEM Oil Pressure gauge. I was initially going for Oil Temp on the left, but since Oil temp can be read through OBD2 and we don't have a real Oil Press. sensor, decided to go that way. They both work great.

not bad. and forgive this question, but on a digital gauge the number ring is purely for looks since no needle right? (i just noticed lol)

Haha. These gauges are programmable and there are green, yellow, and red colored lights on the outside ring of the gauge, so the number ring is not for looks. I just hope he doesn't crash when trying to look way down at those gauges while accelerating.
