As most people on here know, I won't buy a subaru, end of story. It helps that I like the look for the FR-S styling more, but regardless, I wouldn't get the Subaru.

Most people have been complaining about standard equipment...

Because no one has been talking about mods except for a few sane minded people...

I never claimed to know everything and your argument is so personal it's almost laughable. You are obviously doing tuning that less than 1% of the buyers of this car will even contemplate attempting. Your personal expertise with Toyotas is commendable but it doesn't prevent you from using most of the same tools and knowledge on the Subaru BRZ. How much of what you listed will be different between the FRS and BRZ? Your misplaced pride in a brand on the other hand...

They could call this car a Pontiac Fiero and I'd still buy one.

You want the big boy toys then get out of the kids section.
it's too bad the Subaru looks like Subapoo...

I don't like the front end styling of the BRZ at all...

Both cars ARE Subaru... They're built in their plant by Subaru hands / machines...

This is really why I facepalm so much when you defy the very thing you speak out of pure stubbornness...

What is wrong with a Subaru? They make awesome cars...

You can still buy the Subaru and change the front clip...

They have stated they made the front clip easy to remove / replace...

So.....

yeah this car is about driving not about options. I kindly would not pay 2,000 more for nice seats. Sounds like you should get a big comfy sedan, and while this car looks cool its not for you. Did you read anything about it? It's not a plush luxury car, its a cheap sports car? duh

The FRZ doesn't appeal to me either, so I'm not sure why you brought that into the conversation.

I like working on Toyotas because they are familiar to me, not because I have the import version of 2 hill billies arguing Ford vs Chevy, so the "RETARDED" comment was completely off base. I believe more than 1% of us here work on our own cars, and enjoy the intelligence put into the design of a Toyota.

If you want to see a large contrasting example, compare a Toyota engine bay to a G body Oldsmobile. There are GREAT GREAT things to be said about the intelligent design Toyota puts into most things.

Wow, they are ALL Subarus. They are ALL made by Subaru. Unless your hatred for the company is related to their dealer network then I don't get it.

My hatred for Subaru is based on how the company overcharges Canada by 40% for every car when most other manufacturers average 0% to 20% more. It's insulting and that company won't get a penny from me until they fix their Canadian pricing philosophy.

Seriously guys, if it's immature to post about the car and complain about it, this kind of behavior is what turns the forum into Civic forums of yore...

I'm no mod here, but have been in others and trust me if Hachi isn't sleeping right now there'd be some delete buttons and ban hammers on a BUNCH of people as of late...

Nowhere does anyone on this forum have the right to lower the entire forum's class by making remarks like this...

This kind of behavior saddens me more than the crop of near troll like threads...

Then the FRS/BRZ were never intended for you in the first place and you should have known that 2 years ago! This is a Subaru with a Scion badge and a Toyota tuned engine. Toyota has no plans to build sports cars of their own, unless you know of some recent news that I'm missing. The LF-A is an overpriced super car.

The retarded comment wasn't directed at you specifically, more the countless posts from people complaining about things they can upgrade easily.
