Thanks for answering the dollars, its outside of the scope of my build budget. That aside, what will it do for someone who can allocate that money, at 120mph? what about it makes cars win with it vs without? thx

Paul has all the CFD data and can answer that in actual lbs. But, the stock car makes significant lift at 120 MPH (around 180 lbs based on our CFD model). Our dual element can make as much as 200 lbs of load (so that's 380 lbs of downforce) at its most aggressive angle of attack before stalling. The S.E.W. V2 will make less, but I expect it would still be between 100 lbs and 150 lbs of load.

Because of the rod-and-spar core, it is a highly modular design. The wing span can go up to 72." The uprights can be located where you want them. Our standard wing will be 60" for the FR-S/BRZ with the uprights about 32" apart so they mount on the flat surface of the trunk.

Now, time for pictures!

The skin, the mounting tabs, and spars

The end spars

Nice details Hancha... Something you really don't see when people are trying to sell this type of product...

Thank you. We try our best to deliver the best products with the highest quality possible. Our products would feel just as at home on a Ferrari as it would on the FR-S.

Instead of just doing a CFD analysis of the wing and throwing out insane claims, we take our time to model it on the car so we can give you a more accurate representation of what the wing will and won't do.

Paul's been having computer troubles the last few days, but he'll chime in with more data when he has the chance.

I love the top mount myself and wanted to weigh in. I would be interested in a removable mount via the license plate. I personally only want to install a BAW (big ass wing) for track days.

Thanks for the input! I don't know how sturdy that will be and how much load will be transmitted to the wheels with a mount like that if the wing is making actual downforce. I will look into it though.

Could you guys run some CFD simulations on this wing?

On a more serious note, I appreciate all the technical insight on what you guys are doing.

With a backing plate reinforcement of some type the load will be transferred the same as any trunk mounted wing. Yes, please look into it. Thanks.

If it's more GTR style than Tommy Kaira, then count me in as VERY interested in it! FRP would be fine too instead of Carbon Fiber!

I can get this data for you this weekend most likely. I have moved the wing around a little in the x and z direction (down the length of the car is x and vertical is z) to maximize the performance. What I usually analyze for setups includes:

1. Coefficient of lift
2. Coefficient of drag
3. L/D aka efficiency
4. Downforce @ XXXmph
5. Drag @ XXXmph
6. Aerodynamic balance
7. Horsepower required @ XXXmph

If anybody wants something else added to this, let me know.

Cheers,
Paul
