I went apeshit on him. Lol Pulled out the 34ish people who called and deposited and had them moved to Irvine Subaru where Rich was the new sales guy and Rene took over. I still feel bad this day I couldn't help those people get their cars at a dealership that was chosen.

I just talked to clint today. Do we really have to fill up Finance Application? I don't think I want to finance with Subaru since I will be paying cash.
I hope this is not sort of tricks.

Wow... inland empire! I use to live in Diamond Bar. That is kinda strange that you have to fill out a finance form> I will call and find out as well.

Even though I originally was going to pay cash, I filled out the on-line finance form as it stated they still needed it even if you're not financing. However Heuberger offered me such an awesome low financing rate, that it just didn't make sense to pay cash. (I also had no penalty for early payment)

FYI - I also did not have my front plate drilled... however I'm fabricating my own front license plate frame that mounts lower than factory with a slight rake. That way if I ever remove the front plate, you won't notice any holes.

You also GET A 5 year limited warranty keep in mind so you can take it to any certified 3M Clear Bra dealer to have it fixed.

Clint, I do love you guys and you gave me a great deal on my car, but I do have to condition your statement about the clear bra. I had it done through you guys and I was not totally happy with the install. But of course I am here in CA and can't just drive over and ask them to fix it. I was told about the 3M warranty and I did go to a 3M dealer in my area. They told me that the limited warranty only covers the material, any defects such as yellowing, peeling, etc. The issues I had was on my car, they said, was due to the installation, which is not covered by the 3M warranty. Stretch marks on the clear film and imperfections in the cut and application. Just throwing that out there since this is an informational thread. In hindsight I would rather have found a local place to do it, and then I would have some recourse directly with them if I wasn't happy with the install. Other cars I've owned, I had it done this way and was happy with the install afterwards so I know I'm not being overly OCD about it. Well maybe a little but for the price I paid, I ought to be entitled to it. Anyways I'm not that angry about it, the clear bra does what it is supposed to do and it is minor cosmetic issues so I'm over it now. But I wanted to make sure others who read this thread know and understand the issue.

Thanks for your comment. Ill bring that to their attention. Anyways, we honestly try to make everyone of our customers extremely happy. We also try to find these third parties, shipping, clear bra etc that will be beneficial. We're all learning as we go.

I find it odd that there is a need to post something like this, when I'm sincerely trying to help people. . .

As I told you, the reason everyone has to fill out a credit app is by Gunnar Heuberger the owner. It is for your protection and safety and the rules. It is for the Anti Terrorism Act and for money laundering purposes. Yes we in fact have had people leave deals because they don't want to share that information. Which we understand but policy is policy.

I simply follow them. If you're worried about us not being able to match your rate and or us trying to beat it. Its best to fill out a secure credit app so we can match your rate to make it convenient for you guys or to possibly evenbeat it.

I am here to help all of you, not be shot down for it or for being honest.

But in the end we will always give you a great deal and be the most sincere and up front. Now if you haven't felt that you probably haven't worked with me yet, and If you haven't felt like your salesman is trustworthy let me know what I can do to bridge that gap with my team, even though I will be the go-to.

But please if you guys are concerned about something, or don't understand it please call your salesman or give me a call or pm. I do not mind explaining something, or shedding light to a topic that you are not quite sure of...

Respectfully and your friend,

Clint

Hey Clint, I appreciate the explanation about the on-line finance application. It's makes a lot more sense to me now after reading your post. I think here in CA we are just not used to filling out an application when paying cash.

Don't feel bad that guys are suspicious doing business with Heuberger... I initially was as well. I believe here in California we are just used to the fact that all car dealerships are shady and have slime ball greedy sales people. I have to say that I was thoroughly surprised at every step in the sales process how honest and straight forward you and Heuberger Motors have been. I wish all CA car dealerships were like you guys! But then I guess that's the reason why you guys are the highest volume Subaru dealership in the entire country

Clint is 100% right. Last two trucks I bought 100% cash, but if you are going through a dealership, you have to fill out a finance application. I doubt anyone would want to do more paperwork when you have the money in hand, but that's the law.
