I notice you have both the CEL and the VSA light on.

I had this happen to me a couple weeks ago after unplugging the battery and replugging it. The ECU was reading that the stock intake was running lean. I rechecked my connections and my airbox + tube was not tighten down(ooops). I tighten it down, and then I cleared the code using Torque Pro and no more CEL.

Yes 60K for both.

Take the aftermarket air filter out and put a stock-style one in.

Fixt. I was going to suggest that when I first read this thread yesterday, but I didn't want to be "that guy" that asks if the OP did the obvious thing. I guess there is a reason the first question asked when a CEL comes on is did you tighten your gas cap.

Oh I got mixed up. I thought OP had the system too lean code. Turns out it must have been an EVAP code.

I wish they would just make a "check your gas cap" light iso using the cel so the odds of having a mini stroke would decrease.

Doesn't work. We have a tire pressure monitoring light and people still come on the forums asking why it's lite-up before checking their tire pressure.

I can understand the gas cap thing. Hell I think everyone has done that at least once, but the tire pressure one really? wow

I remember the days when dashes didn't light up like xmas trees and you knew a tire was low by sitting in your car and noticing something wasn't right. Oh well. Can't buy common sense.

@ OP glad it wasn't anything bad!

Yea! Well it is written on the gas cap actually that it might trigger a CEL.

understood. I've read my cap as well as the back shampoo and conditioner bottles in my bathroom out of boredom. I may also be one of the few people that reads an owners manual front to back when I get a new car for fun.

but seeing anyone post cel and seeing one on a dash = 86 P.T.S.D.

#81 on unofficial cel issue list (survivor)

I also have had a tune since so I'm glad that it was just something that simple for him
