When there is a break in the rain I plan on checking the airbox for signs of water since it has been an issue of contention on here. There definitely hasn't been enough water to affect the way it drives tho. I'm also thinking about swapping the stock airbox, Perrin filter and Perrin silicon tube for a TRD airbox.

Will the max racing duct go onto the trd like oem?

Well seeing as it does to the OEM airbox,and the TRD uses the stock duct position..... yes

Installed mine. According to my intake temp gauge, outside temp and intake temp used to have around a 20deg difference. With this on, it registers only a 3-5deg difference.

Take some logs if you can of intake temperature throughout an entire gear, 2500-7500. Then compare the temps you see against a credible weather sites published temperature for your area. The gauge in the cluster isn't too accurate for outside temp.

I'd be intrigued to see if it performs any better than a VMS or AFE intake. According to my testing of those intakes, the delta is about 5-7 degrees.

Would have gotten this if i didn't went for AFE. Quite happy for my AFE so far
