That's not how Scion works. Sorry that you're disappointment, but that's what their business model is and it isn't changing.
To convert a BRZ to a high spec 86 will cost a lot more than that. FRS to 86 even more.

I do want to see some pictures of the trunk area with the seats down. I vaguely remember reading somewhere about being designed to be able to fit a set of wheels and tools inside.

Dayam....at that price maybe I will end up reimporting a Scion model back to Japan. Should be cheaper and I want LHD.

As for you guys bitching about the small details, isn't this what you wanted? Now you can add JDM OEM parts not officially available in NA to your cars. (while I'm thinking of doing the opposite hehe)

It's funny how that works isn't it. All the Aussie guys were spending money importing GTO parts while we do the same trying to get Monaro bits. I think it's been like that with every car I've owned.

Dude just chill. Stop trying to change people's opinions. you've been on this thread for less than a month.

Let them haters hate! Many others are fine with it! Scion is a great car brand, but others base their opinions on things that sometimes dont make sense. Just chill be cool and enjoy the forum. Don't be that guy that no one likes cuz he critisizes everyone lol.

good day

P.S. dont give us people from florida a bad name LOL

And what insider source told him it would NOT be an option? Nobody that's who. So to be extreme and say they "dropped the ball" is getting annoying.
Because both Toyota and Subaru premiered there high spec models to the public this week. Why would Scion put 17's on a low spec to show off here?

Kudos to Toyota to make the Scion version as a cheaper alternative while maintaining all essential elements that make this car so appealing. For those who want a more upscale version, they can go for the subaru version. I wouldn't be surprised to see the base price of Scion version as low as $21,000ish. Good job, Scion/Toyota!
