i tried to register my vehicle at AAA after getting it smogged but apparently AAA can not do out of state dealer registrations so now i have to go to the DMV

Because in my envelope from Heuberger, I only have:
pink Purchase Order (shows price of car, fees, tax, amount financed)
pink Retail Installment Sale Contract (Financing info)
pink State of CO Dealer's BIll of Sale with odometer disclosure statement

2 days after getting my car delivered, the Title Clerk, Jacque, overnighted a form for me to sign, REG343. I sent it back same day. I then called her and left a message to see if there are any other forms I need to fill out. But i haven't heard back... I will call tomorrow but Clint, if you could let her know what's the status on that document and if I should be expecting anything back. Name is Irwin T.

When will I get my plates too btw?

Thanks

Thanks Clint. I will continue to correspond with my salesperson.

Just to throw this out there. Perhaps you should offer the option of clear bra for your vehicles that is being transported. That may save some hassels of damage paint...

Irwin,

You will get your plates after you register your car with the DMV.

For all the people that got cars from out of state, can you guys list the things you need (paper work from the dealer) in order to register the car at the DMV in california. Thanks in advance!

Michael, Jennifer should have let you known. It's something that is discussed in finance however I always mention it with my customers as I'm an OCD Subaru owner.

they do offer clear bra installed by a local place. I had it installed. Though in hindsight, I should have had it done here after it arrived. Now I can't go back easily to CO to get it fixed or corrected.

I would not clear bra without having seen the car first. Dealer PDI means a lousy detail, introducing plenty of scratches and/or swirling to the paint that will then be covered with the clear bra. Better to have the paint corrected after you receive the car and then have it done

Yes, all the info is listed in this thread... you'll need to read it a couple times to get all the info, because there's a lot! I've found everything I need in this thread.

BTW, AAA can only help with USED car out-of-state purchases, not NEW cars.

Dawn quoted me over $300 just to clearbra the 7"inch front section of the hood only. I asked about doing the front bumper too, but she said her techs don't do front bumpers. She said it would cost over $1K just to outsource the front bumper if I really had to have it done. I passed, since I could repaint the front bumper 2-3 times for that price.

A partial wrap (front bumper and front section of hood and fenders) should be under 1000

The clear bra I actually will stand by for being EXTREMELY OCD about my own STI. I had them do a full clear bra front bumper hood fenders, top of roof part of rear bumper. Turned out great. That's something that we can help you with.

You also GET A 5 year limited warranty keep in mind so you can take it to any certified 3M Clear Bra dealer to have it fixed.

Best Regards,

Clint

I'm glad people are getting their cars from an actual non-scumbag dealership. Lol

I remember about 2 years ago when I created the first group buy with a subaru dealership. I had him with 34ish people ready to buy, wheel locks and at MSRP + registration tax. He then gimps one of the people on the list and he sends me a text.

I went apeshit on him. Lol Pulled out the 34ish people who called and deposited and had them moved to Irvine Subaru where Rich was the new sales guy and Rene took over. I still feel bad this day I couldn't help those people get their cars at a dealership that was chosen.

Mike, not sure if you got email. I removed badges from your order and put notes on your file. Any other questions feel free to call me.
