We will be getting much more from 9psi, That pull was with the stock header. The factory cat on the header will become a bottle neck at ~300whp DD, so upping the boost is not going to net you the same gain per psi, it will just create excessive back pressure before the header cat and raise EGTs.

We just completed our 4-1 header and will be putting the car back on the dyno again to continue with the tuning on higher boost and pump gas.

Good to see you (ATS) on here showing interest in this platform (though I'm not surprised, it kinda makes sense). Any intentions of taking on work on this platform as the mr2 community inevitably shrinks?

I was an active mr2oc member a few years back. I had a few of your parts on my built SW20 a few years back (which, at least at the time, held fastest 1/4 mile on a stock ct26 ). I'm lovin' this car after missing my deuce for ~4 years. To me its like my new mr2!!

OP, is this thread basically a shop car update/sneak peak? Cause those are just the same shots as are in the other thread. Are you planning on posting more shop car updates here? BTW, lovin the torque curve. I like when FI torque curves resemble the curve on a high V.E. NA. I prefer continually increasing torque over 'kick-in-the-ass' torque.

It's about time someone wants to do this. I am a little shocked it is not more talked about on this forum given the characteristics of this engine. I am a HUGE fan of WMI.

Will be testing it with it shortly. In our area (dc metro), our definition of daily driver mean unleaded pump gas, so we're going to see how much power we can make on pump + wmi. Corn fuel is not a realistic fuel for a daily driver in our area, unless you plan to drive around with a few spare 10 gallon fuel containers in your trunk.

It also means a lot of bumper to bumper if it's a daily driver...will be good to follow the progress.

This will be the kit I buy. I'm already sold. I like how they laid low and took their time.
