Now you guys got me confused! I was originally going to get a Perrin drop in air filter, but now considering a K&N. I've used K&N on my old cars and have always enjoyed them. Never tried Perrin before, but would like to test it out.

This is the classic "six of one, half a dozen of the other..." You really won't be able to tell a difference between them. If you've had a K&N and are used to cleaning them, get one of those. I've had K&N filters on all of my other vehicles, never had a problem with them. i had 193,000 miles on my Mustang when i sold it, and currently have 250,000 on my Powerstroke diesel truck, and they have had K&N's since day one. I went with an AFE driflow filter this time. just because they are a little easier to clean. I haven't noticed any difference in power or sound.
