"The Genesis Coupe 3.8 comes with Hyundai's updated-for-2013 3.8-liter V6 which is now good for 348 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque on 91-octane fuel. Power and torque are diminished by 4 hp and 3 lb-ft on 87 octane fuel."

Weighs about 3500...

I hope others post their results as well. I'd like to see the setup with a Vortech that yields a 60' time that low with street tires and fuel pump.

I'm sure there is still some things we can work on with this setup before playing with other kits. Still using stock fuel injectors / pump / pulley / 92 map.

Id love to see what the 13psi pulley from Visconti would do at the track.

His 60' time on those runs were 2.2s. That's what my other car does(stock) on street tires, and that's FWD. With a decent 60' time (1.9-2s on street tires), that's easily a 13.8car.

That's if you can launch this setup like that. Anything that caused the wheels to slip yielded wheel hop. There was just about no in between. Tried sports mode vs everything off.

I could have dropped a few psi in the rear and my camber might be a little out of whack (stock LCAs and a 1" drop) .

Maybe I should take my car to the drag strip. I have a fair bit of suspension going on.

You could have practically had the whole track to yourself! Seldom have chances like this.

without a doubt I think one of the biggest opportunities is getting that wheel hop under control. you will feel way more confident launching the vehicle and you won't have to back out of it.

^^ Good call. I agree with others on here. My gut tells me the car should be capable of a bit more with a healthy (wheel hopless) launch. A good driver in an AP2 S2k can hit 13.8-14.0 at 100-102 bone stock. They put down between 210-220 whp and 135-140 wtq. The gearing is more aggresive with those too, so that helps, but you should still be quicker. Hope you had fun hitting the track though

I think I had enough time to exhaust my options of where to drop the clutch... 2k, 1.5k, 1k. Could only slip it a bit to get the vehicle moving slightly and then get on it all the way.

Traction control would come on between the 1-2 shift if it was on.

Those two slips are from runs with no wheel hop. Any run with wheel hop earned 14.3 or higher.
