HSD Street Coilover Setup For FT86! Great Product, Amazing Value, Tested @Pure
Got these bad boys in today!
First off, let me start by saying, I've never been really into spending big money on fancy yet functional suspension, I'm a straight line kind of guy and basic coilovers usually get the job done for me. That being said, I could not be happier with my car right now after finishing my new setup. Here's the run down: 17x9 +45 RPF1's with 255/40/17 Dunlop Direzza ZII's Square Setup Agency Power Rear Lower Control Arms w/Camber Adjustment Eibach 25mm Front and 19mm Rear Sway Bars HSD Street Coilover Setup -Pillow Ball Front Top Hats w/Full Camber/Caster Adjustment -6K Front, 6K Rear Springs -Independent PreLoad and Height Adjustment -17 Way Adjustable Compression/Dampening Adjustment -Front MonoTube Shock The springs are properly and proportionally preloaded front and rear. The ride height is set to just above flush. The install was smooth, everything fits well and the adjustments are easy to make. I'll be getting a 4 wheel alignment tomorrow to get everything set up. My first impressions: There's nothing like driving over bumps and instead of the car rattling your teeth out of your head, it absorbs it with ease and you really feel the road. A lot of that is due to properly setting up preload and really having the suspension dialed in. As of right now I only have 3 clicks in the front and 4 in the rear. I'll continue to mess with the dampening until I find the sweet spot, but I think I'm pretty close. We also corner balanced the car and were pretty happy with the end result: With Me In the Car These coilovers also come with adjustable front sway bar links! You think they look nice? Wait until you see how affordable they are... PM Me For Pricing If Interested Thanks for Reading!! |

Haha, weren't you just bashing on the "yokana" or whatever coilovers? This is the same thing. What's so great about these in comparison besides you getting a discount?

They aren't made in Europe. They are made in Korea by HD Systems .. and you don't need me to tell you they are better than tossed together chinese stuff like raceland etc
Do your own research, don't take it from me. HSD is a fine product and I will say amongst the best available for the price range (under 2k)
