Anyone know if there is a recap of the On-The-Fly Maps for Perrin's Supercharger Tunes? I am aware of what the first three maps do for the NA version. Is it the same for supercharger setup? Are we able to use map #4 or does that require us doing some data logging first?

Correct. Maps 1-3 are for the supercharger timings. Map 1 is the most conservative. Map3 is the most aggressive.

@PERRIN_Jeff setup map 4 for speed density. As far as we know we are told not to use it until he fine tunes it.

I've been running map 3 since I reinstalled the unit. Did some data logging. So far things are rock solid. Thanks Jeff

For better or worse only honest numbers.

Temp: 71-75 degrees.

Winds:
Strong head wind. (err what do you call a head wind coming in at an angle? [roughly 45 degrees])

Wind Speed 7 mph
Max Wind Speed 20 mph
Max Gust Speed 25 mph

Track location:
Sealy, TX (Lonestar Motorsports Park - Hennessey)

Haven't drag raced since 2004 but these numbers were pretty consistent. Best trap speed and best ET shown.

Stock pulley on new blower. 3/4 tank of gas, some junk in the trunk, Perrin 92 map (map 3). Only have the Perrin headerback exhaust, 5zigen fn01r-c's (17 inch), and Bridgestone Pole Positions (S04).

Dropping it at any RPMs it seems equals wheel hop.

For reference our tech's Pontiac G8 GT with cold air intake was running 13.94-14.3.

EDIT: Found pic from 2004 @ drag strip in Fayetteville (outside Fort Bragg). That explains the haircut. We're just joking around... Obviously...

Decent trap speed. I just subscribed to this thread and its nearly impossible to search using my phone, but how much power is that car making with the new blower?

Haven't thrown it back on the dyno yet. Been such a long week.

I will next week though and send data to Perrin.

We do have 93 here, but they haven't released that map yet.

Will probably go with a little smaller pulley, and then maybe the last thing will be e85.

Perhaps we'll start all over and give you guys more data with another kit down the road.
Change puts a grin on my face despite the lack of sleep I get . Didn't leave the shop till 2 Thurs night / Fri morning.

Not bad. Decent trap speed. I wonder what that would do up here. A stock z06 traps around 116mph here.

I'd love to see this car hitting 13s with this kit.

That 2zzge swapped MR2 Spyder could do 13.8 all motor. 60ft times were way better and no LSD. I have to figure out the right way to launch it along with some other stuff.

I've had the same issues with wheel hop you described. Hopefully there is a solid fix for this coming up. I'm sure stiffer suspension will help, but we will need some bushings for the rear, and perhaps motor mounts to fully cure it.

I am thinking about how quick the car would be with 300hp with some track mods... What would be a good benchmark for track performance with this kit? 370z? V6 gen coupe?

Yay good times!

1 sec quicker than stock in the 1/4th! I think that is good no? Not really a drag racer kinda guy. Room for quicker times with more practice?

The Spyder had some wheel hop but you could stay in it until it went away.

First two runs I got sideways a bit lol.

I'll probably add some bushings and various suspension bits. Run a rear sway on stiff if I go to another event at the strip maybe?

There was a new auto V6 Genesis Coupe. Ran 14.0s.

With this exact setup (all things considered), I don't think it's going much faster. At least not more than .05-.1s.

Did at least 10 passes (probably more as we were the sponsor and kept the event small - basically had the whole track to ourselves) . I'm uncertain that there is a way to launch the vehicle at anything but around 1000 rpms at the track without getting horrible wheel hop.

So this car after a supercharger is still slower than a stock n/a Gen coupe? Ouch. Doesn't necessarily feel that way from inside though.

And a G8 sedan!

I'm sure there is still some things we can work on with this setup before playing with other kits. Still using stock fuel injectors / pump / pulley / 92 map.

It would be a solid 13 second car with a 1.7 60' time. With the right setup this car has 1.5's capability. Then you could see 12s.
