Looking forward to the conversion of a shopping spree into a working package

That turbo looks like a lag monster though with the huge exhaust housing..

The intercooler is 12x24x3 1/2. Supports 800hp. And the turbo I got is like a 30r size. But if it lags it lags lol. Then I can add to the what not to do list when building a turbo kit.

Which spec 7064 are you using?

I think it will be a fun setup, though a bit top end biased. You should have plenty of powerband if you raise the rev limiter, though. It's a bit early to say how reliable the FA20 will be, though Visconti and Full Blown have both achieved impressive results with no failure, yet.

Ok, so the single scroll turbine, .83 A/R? I hope you hit your target.

My dream is to assemble a EFR 6258 twin-scroll kit. I'm not looking for any more than 400 crank. I think I'd be happy with a low boost threshold, quick spooling 250 whp, to be honest.

That will be at least a few years away, though.

That is the turbo I'll be using if I ever do a conversion. Anything larger is just wrong on a stock FA20 imo.

From what I read seems like the turbo is good for 300-500whp.

It is. I really like the EFR series in general.

FWIW, I don't think you're going too big with it, especially with the T3 housing. You should have decent midrange torque. It definitely won't be just a dyno queen.

My BRZ is my daily driver, and I'd rather have a low, low boost threshold than 400 whp. Just my personal desire.

I plan on building the motor when the stock dies. So better to have upgraded turbo from the begining.

I'm really looking forward to your results. I think Amuse is the only other EFR build in process.
