$24995 for the "mid-range", manual 6spd, and the sport suspension. Probably some minor accessories/options. No Navi(I hate her) or premium stereo.
Edit: I forgot to mention how much I don't like reposts. |

I liked $20,500 USD for Scion FRS but will be happy with $22K+tax, freight,etc...for base model.
Wait, if Toyota/ Subaru people monitor our posts, we should say LESS....... |

I hope they keep the pricing in holland under 30.000 euro's otherwise it will have to compete with the more powerfull megane rs / golf gti
but i have good hope because CO2 emissions play a big part in determining the price in holland. And as this engine only emits only 160grams it's quite clean. |

i dont know what your defenition of a sports car is but the megane rs does the ring in germany in 8.06 minutes, the BMW 1m a RWD 340bhp coupe does it in 8:12
seems like every reply i post in a thread turns into a RWD vs FWD discussing which again is not what im after! i just hope this car is going to be 24k base and 26-28k with all the options i like to have. |

If they price it more than a WRX, they are shooting themselves in the foot. Why on earth would the average person (not any of us obviously) want a car with two less doors, 2 less driving wheels, 65 less horsepower, .5L less displacement, and no turbo, for more money? I know the WRX is a completely different machine, and I would perfer the light weight and RWD layout of the BRZ, but only diehard enthusiasts would pick it over the WRX.
On the other hand, Toyota can't price the FR-S too closely with the Scion tC, or else they will murder sales of that car for obvious reasons. In a perfect world, the car should be $22-24,000 USD, and bring the stripped out base model here so they can advertise a very low base price, such as with the $10,900 Nissan Versa. Unfortunately, with the way car companies seem to be overpricing everything (I'm looking at you $16,000 Scion IQ), I can totally see it being close to $30,000. I am going with $27,995. |

£19000-£23000 Sterling (starting/loaded respectively)
I think the average salary in the UK is around £25k a year.... so to keep this affordable, I'd like to guess/assume it's going to be a bit below the average yearly salary in the UK. I base that on absolutely no facts. Just a educated guesstimate. It will also sit somewhere nicely in with it's rivals. ![]() (personally, I'd like it to be between £15000-£19000, but that's false hope/wishful thinking) |
