people are claiming that E85 won't cause any fuel pump or line issues. (I won't be running E85 exclusively so i am not concerned, I'll only runn it when I really feel like I need that extra power, and not at all in the winter)

Due to drive train power loss, I equate 35 wheel horse power to about 42 crank horse power (+20%). So basically the stock FR-S has 200 crank hp (or 160 wheel hp), this means when I am running E85 my FR-S will have about 242 crank hp (or 195 wheel hp).
But no extra power without a tune correct?

Oh I see what you mean - no, you will likely lose power. your car may not run at all on E85 without a tune... or if it does run, it will run like crap

Good info. With the tune, does the CPU now detect the fuel type and adjust the mapping accordingly?

No. The tune comes with 4 maps and you have to switch maps when you fill up with e85.

So lets say you have an empty tank of 93 and you are running on a 93 map, you go to an E85 station and fill up then you simply switch to an E85 map before you re-start the car.

Hey Norm,
TG told me you can move the existing sensors to the new wheels,
but need to be reprogrammed.

Let me know, because I also got the same TPMS valves from DiscountTire.
I believe Frisby Tire can do it too.

Oh, almost forgot to say my rims and tires came today so I tried them on.
There're a little wider then I expected.

I bought my sensors right from the dealer, and they initally quoted me around $100 for programming, but when I showed up with the wheels already installed, they had misunderstood my request and quoted to swap wheels and program. The charge for programming only was around $25.

My coilovers might be going on Apr 20 or 28.

Oh and what brand/grade of gas should I buy for daily use? Your recommendations are appreciated.
See below...

I prefer shell 91 because it gets rid of the engine chirps.
Same here. The car seems to like the 94 a little better, but the crickets drive me up the wall. I get no crickets using Shell 91.

Those wheels look nice, I like the dish.
What are the specs? I'd like to know.

You said they are wider than you thought, think they will fit?

unless its sitting on the lot for a while i highly doubt you are going to get much, if anything at all.
if you dont take it someone else will... far as i know the avg lot time is still under a week for these cars (meaning they fly off the lot)

maybe try and get them down to the MSRP from a year ago, seeing as it went up.
