I've already spent my money elsewhere. I was waiting but got fed up when they missed another promised deadline for the umpteenth time.

This thread needs to die like the other one.
Sprintex is making 250 kits... I doubt you not buying one will effect them in any way.

ever wonder why that is? I mean, the parent company makes twin screws too. they could have used a twin screw, if they wanted to at Vortech, too, it would have been called the Lysholm
notice what kind of motor usually has this design in my pic below

...because it takes more work to develop a PD kit compared to centrifugal

Some of us now choosing not to buy their kit may or may not affect them, but that's not the point. They are losing many potential customers who have been waiting for this kit for awhile and they aren't really putting out any info on what exactly is going on with their kit at the moment. I was one of those people anxiously waiting for the release of the kit but I got tired of waiting and decided to go with the vortech kit. After vortech released information that there was an update to their kit that pretty much finalized my decision and I'm sure I won't regret it. I'd rather go with a company who is active in answering questions and solving issues that they're customers have been having. The customer service alone of vortech and the constant updates in information from them is a good enough reason to go with their kit rather than waiting for an innovate kit to be released whenever that may be.

I'll be suspect of any dyno they release, hopefully a 3rd party can get one installed quickly.

For what it's worth, my understanding is that innovate didn't release anything in the first place. Visconti came on here posting updates, and word is he was removed from the project over it. The only reason folks are upset is because the thread Visconti was posting in died without a dyno. If it weren't for that, we'd all be excited waiting for the news. It was the tease that brought all this on, and innovate apparently didn't even authorize the release of any information up to this point. Can't blame them for that. They could've handled the fallout a little better, but does anyone there read this forum?

They started that thread AS A TEASE.

They are to blame. They've never come back and responded to anything after fucking teasing.

Wasn't Visconti the one posting all the "we'll have a dyno next week" stuff, which ticked everyone off? Clearly innovate wasn't happy with that and didn't want to promise anything yet. No one is complaining about not having a US dyno of the greddy turbo, because they weren't promised one in a week, a month ago.

No.

Innovate started the thread that turned into a shit show and ended up locked because they teased and then never updated. They stated, only through Youtube, that they would be releasing more information and never did... more than once.

John ( @Visconti ) may chime in though, if I were him, I'd consider distancing myself from this drama. He went out to cali to help Innovate tune this product. He provided some very good news in tease form about how the kit felt and his results but, likely due to restrictions by Innovate and their partners, was unable to release any concrete info.

As a matter of fact, I could be wrong, but the first I've ever heard about John being removed from the project was in someone else's in this thread today. Unless John or Innovate confirm that it's just speculation. Or I missed something somewhere.

I stand corrected lol. I wasn't party to anything that happened with the kit so everything is gossip really. People are overreacting, yet innovate did screw up handling it. It's all a mess. Let's just hope we end up with an awesome PD option in the end.

Why is it that everything gets pointed back to country of origin? I've noticed this on this forum more than any other, and its mind boggling.
