My .02:

Aussie pump gas is like Cali pump gas--it evaporates really slow. (East coast US gas makes more power than Cali gas, too. There can be a 30chp difference on the same WRX. Nevermind the dyno--go on a road trip and you get regional fuel blends as you travel. Octane ratings may not change, but the blends change.)

Because if they want to sell the unit in NA (they do), and they post numbers using 98 RON (they did), people would throw a fit (they are).

Granted, 98 RON translates to around 93 AKI, which most of the US has.

I hate to bring another vendor into this, but AVO had numbers from their car in Japan but still dyno'd their kit here in the US on 91 octane for advertising purposes. How difficult is it for Bullet/Sprintex/Innovate to send a kit over here, run it on the dyno, and most importantly, release the numbers? The entire thing doesnt smell right to me.

Yeah, like you said, it still doesn't mean that the fuel is equal.

In my previous experiences, the american numbers were actually quite a lot higher even though the fuel sucked...

Anyway, it'll come when it comes. You guys are spoilt with choices at the moment. The mentality of "give me give me give me, RIGHT NOW" is rather rampant these days. Some people almost sound like toddlers having a sulk because I wouldn't give them any lollies.

If it doesn't, you haven't paid for it or lost any money. Not entirely sure why people have their knickers all twisted as if these guys owe you their left testicles.

No other car in my memory has had this much aftermarket support yet within the same time frame.

The problem is not that there are not numbers to date, the problem is the amount is MISSED dates.

Its like you really like this hot girl and really want to date her, but every time you get a date set to go out, she leaves you waiting for her at the restaurant. Not once or twice, several times.

Trust starts becoming an issue and you start to wonder why?

Using your analogy, just don't date her.
You can then decide to date her when she eventually has the time or just move on.
If you are too stupid to move on, you've got deep underlying issues of your own, not others.

Easy as, no need to be all emotional and have a cry over it. Plenty of other fish in the sea.

all this moaning is obviously doing nothing. This thread stinks and everytime i visit it it is further off topic than before. Can we get some personal QC here?
Im upset as anyone about the status on this kit but obviously (as other threads show) moaning and bickering over trivialities wont get any results. Else this thread wouldn't exist.
Im done posting in these threads till kits come out.

Oh yes, that's the real end be all. Me personally have never been in this boat, but some people simply cannot let it go, personal preference for a PD SC.

Why? I'll tell you why. Hot girl that you see no future with, sounds like a prime candidate for getting your brown wings.

Edit: I'm unsure how my statement above then can relate back to what the analogy is about. Some jokes come to mind playing on the word skids, but I think this has escalted off topic far enough.

I just wish they weren't the only game in town for this type of blower.

The thing is, Innovate has a good reputation for their data products and has always seemed like a good company. I just don't see why they are just throwing away their reputation like this.

I want this kit but Innovate seems to be the only source for this unless someone else gets a PD blower going. If it does come to market and I get it, it will be with the assumption that their post-purchase customer support will be nigh-nonexistant and I'll be on my own.

I love this kit but I won't give them a penny. I don't like how they do business.
This thread needs to die like the other one.

Agreed.

They missed April 1st by about 9 months when they started their April Fool's thread.
