That Visconti pump looks just like my Full Blown pump. There are no barbs on the output like the DW pump.

The DW 65 pump includes the electrical connector, so there are no cables to splice BUT I don't see how it drops in.

BUT also, there won't be any true drop in until one is made specifically for our cars. The OEM pump is extremely small when compared to the DW65.

Edit: According to the instructions it does fit. I'm debating if I try it or not because if I do, there is no returning it.....

1) It comes with plugs so that it is true plug and play and no cable soldering is necessary;

Answered, it does come with plug and play connector.

2) the instructions show to use the two O-rings and no spacer, is that an error in the instructions, or should the spacer be removed?

Yes removing the spacer and using the two o-rings is what DW recommends, the second o-ring is acting as a spacer to seat the first o-ring in place.

3) It fits completely inside the canister, to the point the clips snap back into place.

You have to separate the clips from the bottom of the filter and fuel pressure regulator and then yes it will clip back in place, we recommend to utilize a large worm gear clamp to ensure that the clips do not pop back up

I have a hard time believing that because it seems all aftermarket FP are longer than the stock one.

Yes all aftermarket options we have seen are longer than stock, but that is the only way to get more flow.

Can anyone whoi has actually installed it in our cars comment/answer the 3 questions?

Done

And just FYI, we are finishing up the last little pieces to our fuel system that will allow you to drop this monster in the tank and not have to worry about double o-rings or running out of fuel

If the machine shop stays on target, we will have the production version pieces in middle of next week and we will do a final test to verify nothing changed from the prototypes and then we will release to the public. This will be full feed and return lines with rails, regulator and fuel lines for those really looking to push the limits with out having to run an additional external tank.

we haven't sold any of these yet until we do final testing to confirm the venturi is working properly and draining both sides of the tank, the factory unit has a built in regulator and venturi which draws off the fuel pump supply, so no matter what pump goes into the stock hanger, it bleeds some of the output off to feed the venturi, our setup will allow for full flow from the fuel pump
