A COMPLETE setup will run around $2k, based on my minimal research & zero first-hand experience (put all the imaginable parts desired in the shopping cart @ nitrousexpress.com), which will include all the hardware one could want to make a nitrous kit fully 'hands-off' (I.e. - arm/disarm the system with one button, never leave your drivers seat).

Compare that to say, AVO's base kit, it's around 2k cheaper... Realistically, both require tuning, so the cost for EcuTek/tuning is canceled out.

Based on my intentions for use of the bottle, I wouldn't expect to go through a bottle more often than once a month, on average. @ $50/refill, the initial cost + 'usage' costs of nitrous will take ~40 months to match the cost of the AVO kit, or 3+ years. Of course, these are 'top of the head' estimations, with ZERO hard data.

You can also consider that the increased fuel expense (both mods are going to increase fuel consumption) is probably a greater factor with the turbocharger, as the 'full-time' power adder can be expected to consume more additional fuel than the 'part-time', compared to stock.

Oh, and I'm assuming that the AVO Stage 1 kit and a 75 shot will net approximately the same whp gains (though obviously with completely different powerbands and character).

Certain tanks have different ratings. I have no idea, i did see someone use a 30 lbb welding nos tank with a fitting one time. I wouldn't recomened it. No2 is safer then a blower if your set up right, but that is because it is only used rarely. Only when using a proper safe kit.

I would not recomend that, nitrous makes more power the longer you keep it in liquid form. The more 90 degree bends the more it converts to gas thus needing more timing retard. Plus that tank size maybe be ok for a bike but a waste of time on a car, just my opinion tho.

Firstly, its called nitrous or nitrous oxide, 'nos' is a brand name and overplayed the fast and furious movies.

Secondly, absolutely not. Go buy a proper tank. If you find someone that would willingly fill a Co2 paintball tank with nitrous I would stay far away from that place.

They are very different substances, Co2 doesn't combust, it actually supresses combustion where as nitrous is an oxidizing agent. As a result there are certain cleaning requirements that need to be done for safety which won't be done to a CO2 tank because they are expensive. Also the tanks will likely be a different material (or coated on the inside)

Who said he was using Co2? A carbon fiber Co2 paintball tank is a new one on me... The tank he is referring to is used for N2, lols.

100% it is worth the wait. First FA dyno'd with a bottle. Results could be interesting!

I was on my phone, hard to scroll back and forth. Either way, N2 is an inert gas, it doesn't burn, the same explanation applies that I did for CO2
