So I got my lip back from paint, and did a mock up. Opinions? I still need to clear the center carbon section, and I probably am not installing it until I get some kind of side skirt. It looks out of place without them.

Don't mind the towels, thats what I used to hold the lip up

the paint makes it look more aggressive... i like it! did you mask the pwjdm plate for painting or did you take it off and put it back on afterwards? it might look cleaner without the plate

It was masked off and painted around. It is very well done too - looking at it you would think that it was removed and put back on. I couldn't take if off because its riveted on there, and you can't get to the backside to re-rivet it again since its enclosed. I wanted to keep that on there in case I ever sell it, it has the PWJDM logo on there, and I also kind of like it there.

@Beyer Subaru - didn't see your post, but I will for sure. I'm hoping they get finished up this week. Another member is already running them but luckily for me I got them in a different size/offset/finish hehe.

That looks amazing! Do you have a link to what parts you used for it? On the website I only see the two side pieces...I think...

Thanks! i'm probably going to end up waiting until I get some sort of side skirt, because I don't like how it transitions from the front to the sides right now. It sits a little lower so its like the car is missing something, and that bothers me

Yep, I'm the same way and understand completely. It bugged me when I had the STi Front Lip and Sides but no Rear Spats.

I think it looks weird having a lip and nothing else on street cars.

I completely agree, unless the lip is extremely subtle which to me defeats the purpose of one lol. I actually was debating between this one and the STi lip. I like things paint matched though so I wasn't sure how it would look painted. I am still curious to see how the sti sides would look paint matched...i'm between them right now and version:select sides, because they have a bit of carbon on the bottom that I can keep, and have the carbon theme flow from the front lip to the sides. I haven't even thought about the back yet

Hes resanding down and repainting the whole thing. Won't have it till friday or saturday..but no biggie.

Ordered some @Zeta Performance Window visors yesterday. Looking forward to those! I had JDM rainguards on my STi and they were one of my favorite aftermarket parts. Just sucks Subaru didn't step up and offer any kind of rainguard. The ones they made for 02-07 wrx/sti with the framless doors were really sleek looking. Was hoping they would do the same for the BRZ as I think the TRD ones are a tad bit too bulky, but Zeta's price was too good to pass up. We will see.
I've been looking for an aftermarket alternative to the JDM window visors. Thank you

Yeah, from a pricing standpoint it was a no brainer. Glad I could help out.

Here are two quick pics of the rain guards.

Overall Impressions:

Look better than I thought in person. I wasn't a big fan of how "abrupt" they start and end, but they do look good. Putting them on was easy with the templates, but doing this in the cold weather was a stupid idea

I pulled out the heat gun and went to work. I still don't think the 3m tape is completely flat throughout the whole piece, but given how the template lined up the guards, there was no possible way I was getting the whole thing flat. My passenger side fit way better than the driver. I worked them with heat anyways so now they fit good.

Looks great! Can you get a side shot of your antenna? Looks like the beat sonic one and curious of the side shot of it.
