self-serve car washes

Google is telling me the nearest self-serve car wash to Aberdeen is all the way in East Brunswick. I've been there before, and it's not a big deal to go there occasionally, but that seems far. Google doesn't turn up any results anywhere in the area. Does someone know if I'm searching the wrong thing on Google, or of any locations in Aberdeen/Matawan/Hazlet or nearby?

Not trying to come off as a **** but how come you won't just handwash it yourself so that you can do a very clean and detailed job. The only issue i have with self serve wash stations is that everybody(in that area) uses it and no telling how good in shape thise things are and if it messes up your car, you are going to be pissed.

I am sure he wants to hand wash himself, thats why he is looking for self-service, not full service.

A self-service car wash is typically a bay you can pull your car into and use their pressure washer/soap dispenser. He still has to handwash it himself.

Or am I thinking of something else here?

I live in an apartment complex. I do not have the option of pulling out the hose and doing it here. I'm not gonna touch the brush, of course, but I do need a self serve wash nearby, or I'm stuck with either automatic washes (yuck) or detailers nearby (expensive).

Have you considered a no-rinse wash? For best results, you would still need two buckets of water, but you can always fill up from your apartment and bring them down to the car. No need for a hose.

I should look into that, but the development tends to be really strict about just about anything like this, so it's probably not an option. I'll reread the lease to find out though.

search up on rinseless washing. no hose necessary. 2 buckets, grit guards, micro chenille wash mitt, optimum no rinse

fill 2 buckets in your tub and get after it.

I still rinseless wash from time to time but when I lived in an apt with no hose, rinseless washing was where its at.
