Perrin LWCP tensioner wabble

Is this normal? Mine will make a knocking noise 20% of the time while it's going crazy. Anyone know what may cause this? The shop I go to simply thinks I have a bad Pulley.

I have the stock pully and my tensioner moves around a lot at idle. Not enough to make a knocking sound though.

My first car I had a wobble but my new one does not with the same pulley. I would follow that link up above. I'm thinking I may have pulled mine out a tad on the first car and never knew it.

Nick,
Lets just get you a new one that has been tripled checked. We can then get yours back and check to see what was wrong with it. The problem does not sound like the normal wobble associated with the part so lets get it taken care of.

It's normal for the bolt head to not look centered when the engine is on, since the bolt head isn't centered on bolt exactly. It's also normal for the tensioner to be moving too when the car is idling, but it's not normal to get any type of knocking sound. Hopefully we can figure it out!
