You remember! I miss the Evo. Funny how all Amuse made for it was the catback, but they're making a whole catalog for this car!

Yeah, that's what the white thing with the vacuum nipple on the side of the compressor housing.

There are quite a few things that make EFR turbos great. The internal wastegates are much more friendly to flow than traditional internal wastegates. All EFR turbos use dual ceramic ball bearings, billet compressor wheels, and lightweight hybrid metal/ceramic turbine wheels. You can get them with or without internal wastegates if you prefer external. With all the options, you can fab some piping, bolt on the turbo, and your system is done.

The greatest downside to the EFR turbos is they take up quite a bit of space, so on cars with tight engine bays, there just isn't enough room for them.

No they don't. They all use journal bearings. $$$$ for a journal bearing turbo.

Oops, my info is 2 years old. My bad. They ARE ball bearing

Details on the single exit exhaust will be available in the near future. We posted up some teaser pics from the Amuse Facility during Tokyo Auto Salon week several months ago. We are eager to receive this first production model into the US. If there is more interest, we would be happy to inquire further in Japan.

Best,
Bulletproof Automotive

Maybe you were thinking of Borg-Warner Airwerks? The EFR series has always been ball bearing, AFAIK. Even press materials from 2010 listed the ceramic ball bearing cartridge as an attribute.

Sounds awesome. I'm still waiting for my R1000 front pipe so I'm glad I waited before ordering the dual. This is setting up nicely.

It is kPa probably, most of the JDM pressure gauges actually read in "x100" kPa so .6 is actually 60 kPa. But BAR and kPa are the same anyways except for the 100 scale factor.

Are they developing this as a kit or a one-off shop car?

I'd be more interested in an Amuse body kit after what they did for the 370.
