It really isn't that difficult to remove the intake manifold. I removed mine in about 30 minutes with the help of a buddy. We left the fuel rails/injectors installed on it and instead disconnected the fuel lines as that is what the factory service manual says to do.

Little late to this thread, but that Innovate kit sure looks nice, but they have an intercooled and nonintercooled version? I figured all FI systems would be intercooled because of the heat caused by the TC/SC.

Saab The intial kit is internally intercooled but you can upgrade and go front mount with a different kit. Rumor is...

Thanks. Not thinking about FI until many years from now, but it's good to know what's out there.

Not the case.

The base kit is non-intercooled. The upgraded kit is intercooled. You can upgrade the base kit later on with ease.

When upgraded, the intercooler is inside the intake manifold right below the supercharger unit.

This type of blower definitely should feel like an N/A car. I DD a car with a roots blower and the power delivery is very linear.

Most blowers like this have a very flat torque curve so not sure what's going on there.

Just want to let everyone know this is pulled out of the clouds.

Gem, where do you get your information from? Or do you just like making things up lol?

The two screws work together as meshing lobes. One screw doesn't work better than the other. They work together to pressurize air. One screw cannot exist without the other.

One screw looks bigger than the other because of the way its lobes are shaped compared to the other one.

I think you are somehow confusing twin screw with sequential twin turbos that were in the RX-7 and Supra Turbo.

Here is the Rx-7's graph. You can clearly see where the first turbo runs out of steam at which point the 2nd turbo is brought online.

Supra stock twin turbo:

There is nothing similar between a twin turbo system and a twin screw. Other than the word twin.

Agreed. Let's wait and see what more tuning can accomplish. If you look at these numbers I see no fall off in torque in the top two tables:

Can anyone explain why the bottom table has a fall off in torque? Maybe that is the non-intercooled version? Heat in the higher rpm range could cause torque drop off. Just a thought.

I know that our throttle body is quite large stock but i would be interested to see if a larger throttle body, new map sensor, and header/full exhaust would effect it.

The Innovate kit should be just about ready for you in a couple years.

They "already" had dyno numbers, pictures, videos last month but remember they were just finishing up durability testing. So it seems like they ran into a snag in their durability testing that would prevent them from wanting to release any of those things...
