Being in the car industry for many many years.. People waiting for changes on the 2014 FRS are probably going to be disappointed.. Besides MAYBE some refinements, like the crickets.. I don't see Toyota or should I say Subaru changing tooling and dies, or getting all new parts after just a year of sales and development.. In fact I'd be surprised if we see a revamped model by 2016, it's just not in a manufactures budget to change that much yearly.. Nothing is wrong with the chassis, suspension, or drivetrain.. Maybe a boost in power.. Maybe.. But other then "bold new colors" I don't see nothing being changed with the next model year..

In fact if they release the new model during the regular time most manufactures do, ie. June July August.. Then they would be starting to implement those changes here very shortly.. All the new stuff would have to go through testing, and I haven't seen no real evidence of anything being tested other then the STI BRZ..

Ninja edit: And the June release is what I have been saying for months now and everybody was thinking they'd be here in Oct because of some Fleet Sales notice.
Yep and these will be 2014 models too. So the 2014 model FR-S and BRZ will probably be out in June as well.

A turbo BRZ will come when they release the WRX and STI in 2015\16

The convertible will be out then also...2015 model year.

I agree the 2014 model FR-S will be probably the same, except for this special series with the added stuff...and the crickets fixed. They could also put in a new header to fix the torque dip...that would be a easy change for them...

In the super car world the GTR is pretty affordable, if anything I think supra and new NSX will slot above GTR in price. So alillte over 100 K

And I was just thinking , how easy or hard is headlight theft because this car seem prime target.

I am so glad I didn't wait!! I could care less about the added features and the glowing emblems are a little tacky for my taste.

Too bad since the badges illuminate, it'll be hard to change the scion badges to toyota-not to mention the word scion illuminating on the dash.
WRB BRZ here I come
Even if everything available on the 10 series were available on the FR-S last year at launch, it was nigh impossible for me to say 'no' to WRB. Depending on the time of day and lighting, my BRZ looks anywhere from a bright turquoise to a dark periwinkle. I'm surprised I still can feel that "holy crap, this baby is MINE" feeling when I walk up to it, even though I've had it for 9 1/2 months now.
