Can you see all the shit this car won? The GT86 has won the Best Coupe Car from the Scottish Car of the Year 2012 held at Glasgow on 14 October 2012. The Toyota 86 has been judged the 2012 Car of the Year in Australia at the annual Drive awards. I sold my '10 Golf TDi to get the FR-S, and believe me, the Golf is a great car, in many ways a better choice for me than the FR-S. But, it wasn't nearly as much fun to drive, didn't have the "bling" value, and left me a bit cold. It did get 45MGG on the road though, and that makes up for a lot of faults. The main reason I got rid of it was the fear something would go wrong with the electrics, and it would start nickel and diming me to death. Anyway, life is too short to drive boring cars, and I'll probably trade the FR-S for something else after a few years. YMMV,

top three in World performance car of the year; and a finalist in the World car design of the year. That's pretty freaking awesome. |
