WE LOST :(
The 86 lost to the Golf and the Cayman/Boxster for the World car of the year and World performance car of the year category respectively. :(
|
Damn those Germans
|
Id rather have a 28k Rear wheel drive car over those two any day.
|
Aww man! However, those are 2 stand up cars to lose to.

I CALL BS.

just remember what Jezza said :]

When my cost of ownership is lower I will know who the true winner was!

boo.. :(

For me, what others think is irrelevant.
What I think is what's important, and I think it's a brilliant car to drive. I've owned some amazing cars in my 42 years of driving including big names like Jaguars, 7-series BMWs, and Subarus, but my GT86 is the one I enjoy driving the most. I've just got home from a 50km burn through the beautiful mountains near my home, and I have a seriously warm and furry feeling right now, so I couldn't give a s**t whether we won an award or not. I award my 86 a gold star, and that's all that matters!! :D:D:D |
I really wonder why it lost to the Golf. The Golf is a damn good car, but when it comes to performance it is kind of outclassed by most other hot hatches.
|
this car was never built for committee :)
|
My life view is shattered! :D
Seriously though. I have heard that the newest Golf is pretty amazing. And the new Cayman is just simply amazing. Not bad company at all and it's cheaper than both of them. If you want RWD it's a no brainer. |
Meh go drive your car and enjoy it :D
