03.3"") the concept is actually smaller and wider with a longer wheelbase (178.0in x 74.4in x 54.7in ) Wheelbase: (108.7 in.)

Edit: @Levi beat me to it
Yeah I labeled it wrong but the picture itself is right. I was hoping they would go for something smaller and get back into the WRC. Looks like they chose to make it more of a road course car. I think it still will be a great car this way, but I would prefer a smaller lighter car myself.

BTW, you can clearly see the WRX concept has just evolved the design cues of the current Subaru range. There was no GT-R/Ford/Dodge or whatever copying/inspiration.

Not every WRX/STI owner gonna drop their cars. There is no way a production car is as low as the dropped one either, not even with the tuned version by STI. Why don't they just keep it at reasonable height to reach more audiences. After all, STI is a rally car, not a sport car.

I love it.

It can be raised for rally.

I need to be paid more so I can own both.

/the end.

But rally cars are generally sports cars?

Haha, just kidding. I agree with you completely.

I love the concept but I'm begging Subaru not to completely overhaul the production version. Please. Just a tad bit here and there.

I just hope it handles better than the current one. I know they are trying to improve the MPG's but if they could make it handle a bit better than a sponge, I'd probably consider one as a daily driver.

There are parts I like and parts I hate.

I hate how it looks extremely huge. I wish it would stay the same size it is now. It's a bit big already but it has ample room for everything I need.

I think that with the new design, the hatch-if they make one for this model-will be much better looking

Consider this everyone, The concept shown on pictures looks big for several reasons.
1. It has a bodykit on it,
2. its on 20' wheels

-The new WRX is actually SMALLER than the current generation Impreza WRX, even though its also wider.

-I spot 30 different styling cues that have carried over from the previous model. Including Front bumper, Fenders, 1/4 Panel, Body Line, and hoodline. So if you believe it looks totally different and a complete overhaul, it really doesn't look all that different side by side.

Heres a PS of what the car could look like if it didnt have sideskirts, and a large front bumper overhang. Also with door handles, side mirrors, and headlamps.

Thanks Josh! It definitely has potential! :happy0180:

Fun fact! these type of regs killed the pop-up headlight too.

I went from an Evo IX to my 2011 WRX back in 2010. I thought the handling stock to stock was a vast improvment over my Evo. I've never understood why people think the 2011+ don't handle well.

I'm on the fence with this concept. I know a lot of things will get killed on it and I'm sure it will come out looking good in the end. I myself will not look into it because I am already sold on getting back into a light weight RWD platform, thus my preperations already starting with putting my WRX back to stock and preparing to order my BRZ come June. I miss my old RX-7 and I feel the BRZ will be a better fit for me, my life style and more importantly my driving style.
