My parents are with USAA and they were able to check different dealerships for discounts and I got mine for about $1,240 cheaper than MSRP.

I thought Scion reduced both military and college graduate amounts to $500.00?

TL;DR Three people go into a Scion at the same time on March 31st and buys each themselves an FRS at 2K below MSRP. Will it work?
I don't think that's going to work with SCION Dealers.
you may get freebies like accessories, cups hats keychain and stuffs.

I don't think there is $2,000 in markup in the car to begin with. If you want a discount why not get a BRZ?

Damn! I will likely be getting mine Saturday and was hoping for that college discount. I read fine print and you have to have graduated in the last 2 years. I graduated in 05.

How to get $2k off your FRS.
Step 1: go to Subaru Dealership
Step 2: Get a BRZ
Step 3 Haggle on Price
Step 4 Get dealer to take $2K off
Step 5 Buy Scion FRS Badge Set and swap them
Step 6 Still pay over $1k more for the Subaru

This concludes our tutorial on how to save $2k on an FRS.
Thank you for coming, have a nice day, and happy hunting.
LOL

1. If you are in the mood to haggle, shop for a used frs or try haggling the price of a new brz.
2. If you are looking buy multiple cars target a high volume dealership due to the nature of allotments, but you may find it easier to locate multiple frs versus brz which takes you back to point one.
3. If you can use your trade to offset the frs sticker price, then there is haggling room there.

...just my two cents.

What is the chance to have 3 cars in stock there with all the options and color you 3 all like?
If yes, what is the chance this dealer willing to cut deal?

Let me suggest this: you 3 split up and compete to see who buy with the most discount, I think this will have some potential for good thing to happen...

Scion has fixed pricing, so you probably won't get a discount.
Subaru still isn't keeping up with demand, so you probably won't get a discount.

TBH if you try to haggle they'll probably just say no and sell it to the next guy who walks in. Your plan would work on any other car except for an frs/brz.
