Watching as well. Just saw the FR-S parked on pit lane during the race. Must still be broken

Best way to get a job in racing is to know people, unless you are a PhD. It's a gated community so it's hard to get in at first. When you do, be prepared to work long hours for little pay, if you get paid at all. You really have to want it. If you don't know anyone, keep showing up at the shop and keep volunteering to help clean up. After a few months they may or may not offer you more work. To move up, you need patience and to pay your dues.

I was shooting the start at start finish line. The FRS started LAST because of not qualifying but at turn one they were up 5 spots roughly. Not sure what happened after that but the standing start looked promising for the RWD set up against the flurry of Mustangs that were ahead of them when they went green.

Thats all I got at this time guys.

Headed home to with 80 gigs of footage.(of the Volvos)

There were two races. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. I believe the FR-S may have made some laps in the Saturday race, which I didn't get to see either. On Sunday the FR-S was definitely parked in pit lane the entire race. Never made it to the grid.

I didn't watch the Saturday one, I got to watch Sunday though. I will check the recap of Saturday.

I was at the race on Saturday, the FRS did not run. I heard that they were having mechanical issues but nothing further.

I've followed the WC for a long time and am a big fan of Porsche. They took the checker on Saturday. It was a great race and pretty clean. The XPAX volovs, if you've never heard them in person, they sound so great. Just nothing but turbo sounding. I was worried they were going to win on Sat but a caution have Porsche an opportunity with a few minutes left when they went back green. St. Pete is a great event, this was my 2nd year in a row going.

From some posts in the engine forum Motec. ElectronSpeed in the Atlanta area posted some pics of the engine on an engine dyno and they are Motec tuners.
