Spoke to a friend who works at JRi. Those dampers should become available within a month for the hardcore track guys :]

@Hancha Group-can you give us any info on JRi? I'm not familiar with them.

Great pics and great news. The car is progressing to the point of ready to race. I noticed the front suspension looks to sit rather high, is that a race prep setup or for transportation? Is it for proper suspension geometry and adequate clearance? Looks great.

That front sway bar endlink position and the straight arms look a lot more efficient. I wonder why they don't come like that from the factory? It's interesting to see what they've kept and what they didn't, I wonder how much of that was the rule book and how much was that the parts were good enough.

Thanks for the pics @RacecompEngineering

Jrishocks.com , US shock manufacturer based in NASCAR country I believe.

Nice pics, the blade type front bar is interesting. I hope the airbox is temporary that looks pretty bad with the crooked house clamp and sawzalled looking hole. :)

That's a splined NASCAR style blade mount which is totally unnecessary on a street car. I don't know if it is really more efficient but allows a ton of adjustment very quickly.

It gives me ideas since that would be legal for stock autocross class since its all bolted on.

Impressive!

I was referring to the straight vs curled (not round vs. flat) arms and the fact that the endlinks go to the control arm instead of the strut. While that will change the motion ratio and may require a stiffer bar, the arms of the bar wont be acting as springs isolating the forces from one side to the other.

Front ride height was for transport.

Car got to track at 6pm yesterday, ran 3 qualifying laps today. Had trans issues. Crew chief say new trans comes in the AM.

I shoot video for KPAX RACING and we are pitted next to these guys so it was easy to grab some shots.

I have them coming thru 2 turns and thats it. Car was in last place but had issues so no way to judge its pace.

No worries we will be traveling with GTS all season.
